Band member, author, photographer and traveller Robert Lyngdoh is the vice chancellor of the Martin Luther Christian University. A member of the Meghalaya State Legislative Assembly, Minister of State and then a cabinet minister, he has managed a myriad of portfolios. In this talk, he analyses the reasons for the alienation faced by the people of the North-East from the rest of India, and also gives the possible remedial measures for that. He points out that Eco-tourism and inclusive tourism are the way forward for the north-eastern states of India.
